ALP offers both resistive and capacitive rugged touch panels. We have developed proprietary processes to integrate EMI shielding windows and heaters into both type of touch panels. In addition, we can customize and ruggedize touch panels with the following features:

Customization and Further Ruggedization of Rugged Touch Panels
If you do not find a touch panel that meets your requirements in our standard offerings, ALP can design a custom solution to your specifications. A sample engineering drawing of a typical customized touch panel is provided below for your reference. .
ALP offers additional ruggedization of GFG (glass–film–glass) touch panels by bonding a reinforcement glass plate to the rear of the panel:

1. Backing glass thickness 0.7~ 5 mm
2. Chemically strengthened glass or
regular glass may be selected
​
Total thickness of the reinforced touch panel can reach up to 9 mm and is capable of withstanding the boot kick impact test.
